As the flowers begin to bloom, the grass greens, and young women start wearing less, usually some form of a fashion don't, I thought I'd share my tweedy green that is fit for another season.
A raglan seam
See those two holes? Those are in the armpit. I picked up five stitches, see the pattern continuity? Did I do something wrong to achieve those holes - the one on the right clearly larger than the left. Or is that "typical" and I will just sew them closed?
It's my rendition of Elizabeth Morrison's Hyde Park Pullover in Tahki Donegal Tweed from my stash. Stash usage: I'm so proud.
Tour de Georgia update: Popo pulls it out for the boys in blue in Stage 2!

Perfect for spring! I love the up close tweed pic.
I love the tweedy green, very nice. And your raglan seam looks great. It will be nice to have this all ready to go for fall. I had little holes in my armpits with Gigi, and I just sewed them up, don't know what the trick is to not have them.
It's looking GREAT! The little holes sometimes happen, sometimes don't. I've gotten better at avoiding them over the years, but can't think of a way to put into words any of the tricks. Just sew them closed at the end. Maybe you'll have to take a nice vacation up a snowy mountain this summer, just so you can wear your sweater before fall.
Lovely sweater! You're making great progress.
Good on you for stash-busting.
Oooops, I forgot to sign my comment - it's your CFSP, Erin. : )
I get the holes and sew them closed sometimes too.
I really like the yarn you're using.
Hee hee, I know that the sweater is just on top of a deciduous bush, but it also sort of looks like a HUGE sweater laid on top of a forest of trees. But maybe I'm just punchy.
I often find a few spots in FOs where things don't look quite as tight as I'd like -- I just do a few inconspicuous stitches and it tidies right up.
Ohh! Love that color! Can't wait to see the finished product!
what a beautiful colour.... the little flecks of colour are just stunning...
yeah... my knitpicks never really happened... thank you so much though.
